The children at Admirals Academy are taught 2 hours of science per week following the suggested national curriculum. Details of this curriculum can be found here.
Alongside their learning in class, a number of our children are taking part in a Space Gardening Club which runs at the end of the day for an hour a week. The club will see the children setting up the resources to take part in a national science experiment to grow rocket seeds that have been sent to the International Space Station and then returned to Earth. These ‘space’ seeds will be grown alongside seeds that have not left this planet to see if there is any difference in their growth or development. Further information can be found on this experiment by clicking here.
